Katy Planamenta – Founder
Katy started her career in marketing and advertising with Bloomin’ Brands, Inc., one of the world’s largest casual dining companies. There she was responsible for the creation and execution of strategic marketing plans for the Outback Sports and Carrabba’s Italian Grill brands. Wanting to use her ideas to create a new kind of agency and feeding her appetite for entrepreneurism, Katy founded Superfly Digital in 2009. Throughout her career she’s had the opportunity to collaborate with major brands including Coca-Cola, Anheuser-Busch, DIAGEO, Nestle Food Services, PGA TOUR and Major League Soccer.
With a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Marketing from the University of South Florida, Katy also completed international studies at Caen University in Normandy, France. She is currently a Board Member for the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce and serves on the AchieveHERs Women in Business committee.
When not working, you can find her chasing her two toddlers with her husband or on her yoga mat.
