Apple’s New iPhone 4 Does Not Disappoint

The most exciting news coming out of Apple’s WWDC yesterday was the release of the new iPhone 4. And man, we have to tell you, this phone looks sweeeet!
One of the coolest new features of the iPhone 4 is the integration of video calling, or “FaceTime”. FaceTime is, as Apple explains, “phone calls like you’ve never seen before.” With a simple tap of the button, you can use the new 5 megapixel camera and HD video recorder to bring your calls to life. This truly is connectivity at its finest.
Another cool feature included on the iPhone 4 is multitasking. You can have multiple apps running at the same time without hindering each app’s performance. For example, we can now jam to our favorite Pandora station while texting, checking email or surfing Safari. Also, for greater organization and better access to your apps, you can organize your favorites apps into folders with a simple “drag + drop”.
Between FaceTime and Multitasking, we were pretty psyched about the new iPhone 4 but of course Mr. Jobs has to throw the icing on the cake which to me personally, was the integration of Spellcheck into Mail and other apps. Hallelujah!
As for the hardware and software updates, the new iPhone 4 features:
- A smaller and thinner stainless steel frame that serves as the antenna.
- Engineered custom glass on the front and back of the phone that is 30x harder than plastic.
- The clearest screen ever with 3.5-inch (960×640 pixel) multi-touch Retina display and fingerprint-resistant coating.
- 5 megapixel camera with an LED flash.
- An A4 Processor that promises larger battery life and up to 40% more talk time.

You can get your hands on this awesomeness June 24 for the price of $199 for the 16GB model and $299 for the 32GB model. Pre-orders begin on Tuesday, June 15. For current iPhone lovers, the iOS 4 upgrade software will be released June 21.
